Hello there! Today I'm not posting a poem nor a song because... I have a special guest with me today! :D This is my friend "Ade" (a-day), she is the one who did the drawings that inspired me for two of my poems Where the Forgotten Flower Waits and The Crystal Maiden. Just so you all know before you read this, we MAY be slightly insane. It's just a possibility, you can decide for yourself! I hope you enjoy this pointless conversation! ^_^
~Do I care about how many bubbles you have?
~You should! Ooooh! I absolutely love Kate's dress. It suited her so well. I LOVE YOU, DUKE AND DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE!
~I didn't watch the wedding. It seemed pointless to. -.-
~It's not every day you get to see a future king and queen who actually love each other get married.... And I saw them kiss! They had to do it twice... hehe.
~I don't quite care... Lets talk about something else, something more interesting... So are you going to eat all the wasabi chips again?
~Her dress had HANDMADE LACE on it. You know, it takes around 3 months to make a piece of lace that's 5 inches wide. And they covered a whole dress! It was beautiful!!
~So it was pretty, i don't really care. Anyone with enough money can get that done. Another that seems silly, is that some people went out and got dressed up to WATCH IT ON TV! I mean, how silly is that. No one can see how you dress if you're watching it on tv.
~Not true. Her dress was absolutely astonishing. It was amazing, astounding, beautiful, impressive, etc. I will forever be amazed at that dress. And really, not just anyone could get a dress like that made. SHE IS THE FUTURE QUEEN OF ENGLAND.
~I don't live in England, it doesn't seem to affect my life. Would it be so amazing if it were simply a president getting married? I don't think so, both are figures important to the country, but one gets more attention from the citizens of other countries. That's all.
~Well, it should be important. Kate Middleton will also rule over Canada too. And really, It's an honour to be invited to one of those things. How about we end this discussion by saying that Kate is awesome and she will be a good wife for Wills. Ok?
~Fine. So how about the wasabi chips? Are you going to eat them all?
~Oh, probably.
~Fine, I'll let you read your manga...
~It is not simply manga. It is SCOTT PILGRIM! And it is amazing!
~Yeah yeah, who cares.
~I care. Duh. That's why I got it.
~Well you don't count.
~Well you can live all alone and I will not be your friend. BYE.
~... oh well... I still have the wasabi chips...
~WASAAAAAAAAAABIIIIII!!
I hope you found amusement in this post. Bye~!
"Yesterday's memories are all gone and spent, and tomorrow's memories are always there for you to invent." In this blogs you'll be exposed to music and you'll hear my perspective on each song. Music is a way of expression and a way that is usually taken for granted. You need to see beyond the surface of the beat; listen to the lyrics and enjoy...

Left Behind
Once again my friend drew an amazing picture, and I wrote a poem about it. I'd be lying if I said that I had no other inspiration, the manga Skip Beat! sort of has a similar storyline, only Kyoko pursues revenge in the show biz. To read about this manga, go to the blog Manga Freak. She should have a recommendation or two about it. I hope you like this poem, by the way, if any of you have any comments at all about my poems, PLEASE post it down below. I'd love to hear back from my readers.
Where the Forgotten Flower Waits
How are you?
Yeah, I’m holding on,
Still waiting for you.
I see you in my dreams all the time,
But you’re always out of reach.
If only you could see my pain,
Then maybe you’d come back.
Well… I guess I’m just a normal girl,
I thought maybe I was something special to you.
I guess I was wrong.
Good luck with your life without me.

The undiminished memory
I love Haiku. Simple, short, but full of emotion. My first haiku wasn't so creative, but i polished of my skill and wrote this poem for an ela assignment in grade eight. I then wrote a series of haiku to follow the first haiku written and it became a story with not just a simple message. I hope you all enjoy this poem. I wrote it a while ago, but poems do not fade with time.
Sakura Cherry Blossoms
Sakura flowers tumble
As the wind whimpers
Once was a garden
This field full of Sakura
Was before this war
Graveyard of bodies
It is a land of sorrow
Now the sky sheds tears
I live on that field
Sakura flowers still bloom
Survived through that war
We pray before bed
Our backyard is our temple
We grieve for lost souls
Sleeping – it haunts us
No memory is needed
It affects us all
That's all for today~!

Hide it all away behind a smile
Once again I don't have much time, so today I'll just post a song and the lyrics to it. This song affects me a lot because I once lived just as this song describes. So alone and hurt that the only way to continue on is just smile.
How To Fight the Loneliness
How to fight loneliness
Smile all the time
Shine your teeth to meaningless
And sharpen them with lies
And whatever is going down
Will you follow around
That's how you fight loneliness
You laugh at every joke
Drag your blanket blindly
Fill your heart with smoke
And the first thing that you want
Will be the last thing you'll ever need
That's how you fight it
Just smile all the time
Just smile all the time
Just smile all the time
Just smile all the time
How To Fight the Loneliness
How to fight loneliness
Smile all the time
Shine your teeth to meaningless
And sharpen them with lies
And whatever is going down
Will you follow around
That's how you fight loneliness
You laugh at every joke
Drag your blanket blindly
Fill your heart with smoke
And the first thing that you want
Will be the last thing you'll ever need
That's how you fight it
Just smile all the time
Just smile all the time
Just smile all the time
Just smile all the time

Rain
Note to audience: I AM NOT DEPRESSED!!!!!! I just have very sad poetry. T_T But seriously, how do you write a happy poem without it sounding fake and cheesy? I can only write sad poems... if you can give me tips for my poetry - ie, how to make happy poems - I'll gladly take any advice that you have!
I find the rain depressing
It demonstrates how pure emotions are
For even the gods shed tears
________________
As the gods sheds tears
We shed ours
Is that as close as we may be?
________________
The hole in the sky
That only I can see
Is swollen in the rain
I don't have much time this week! I'll do the best I can. I hope you like my scattered thought of rain! See you tomorrow!

Waiting in vain
The Crystal Maiden
As the Crystal Maiden waits,
her heart grows cold.
Will she ever be free,
from the curse that is upon her?
Will she be found?
Shattered,
she can't remember how to fly.
She waited too long,
her heart is that of ice.
At least she is free.
The Crystal Maiden gazes at the sky,
trying to gather her strength.
She may be free, but she is broken.
She must remember how to fly.
She takes a leap,
and defies her fate.
I was inspired for this poem by a drawing that one of my friends drew. A beautiful maiden in a pure white dress, the wind violent around her, gazing into the distance with her hollow eyes. I hope you like it! Until tomorrow!

Remember Me
A lot of these poems are just quick scribbles I did a long time ago, some are cheesy, some are empty, but they show progress. Not everything done is a masterpiece.
Remember
I hold in my heart
A forgotten memory
My precious treasure
_______________
I know that I love you,
Even if I don't know you.
I did once know,
But I have forgotten you.
Was I not good enough?
_______________
I treat you not as a memory
But as reality
I saw you a long time ago
But it doesn't dictate the future
I think of you every night
But it's true that I think of the old you
I remember you as such a tender person
But I no longer know you
_______________
In reality
You never existed here
'Cause you never were
Here I am alone
It's no reason to mourn you
'Cause I can find you
All that's left of you
Is the book I found you in
Sequestered away
_______________
A castle made of sand
To protect my broken heart
Is crumbling away
I hope you like the poems! I don't have titles for most of them, but "Remember" represents them all. See you tomorrow!

This post kind of proves that I'm a contradiction...
I got a high mark for this one here, the teacher thought it was imaginative. In my opinion it was quite bland because it had to be about myself. I could of created an extravagant tale that exists no where but in my mind until I write it down, but no. It had to be about myself. Well, I hope you guys enjoy the poem!
Wings
I have wings
They take me to places I've never seen
places I've never been
I've even been to places beyond this world
I"ve seen babies being born
men dying for what they believe in
I've seen seemingly endless nights
I've seen the most most gorgeous sunrises
I've been to mass on Sunday morning
I've listened to a Buddha's teachings
I've gone to war in the name of a false god
and I never returned home to my family.
Alone in my room
clearly vivid thoughts fill my mind
I imagine impossible possibilities
My imagination is wings to an unknown reality
one no scientist will ever truly discover
it lies between the pages of books
born through children's eyes
waiting to be explored by the open-minded
For those of you who watch Star Gate SG-1, you can see how I was inspired for the third line of the third stanza. I know I'm a geek! I'm proud of it too! When I first started watching it with my family, I thought Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks) was hot, where as my mother adored Jack O'Neill (Richard Dean Anderson). Stargate SG-1 is a military sci-fi and is really awesome! The characters are Hilarious! Jack and Daniel are best friends, but are completely different! Jack is a colonel in the military (supposed to be retired at that, twice even) and Daniel in short summary, a nerd. But a hot nerd who spokes over 20 languages and could adapt to learn more quite quickly. He died multiple times in the series, all times somehow coming back to life. Here's a brief summary of the plot (source: wikipedia) :
The story of Stargate SG-1 begins about a year after the events of the feature film. A network of ancient alien devices called Stargatesconnects a vast multitude of planets within our Milky Way galaxy for interstellar travel. Later episodes reveal that this network is capable of spanning not just planets within the Milky Way, but with sufficient power, can provide intergalactic travel as well. Stargate SG-1 chronicles the adventures of SG-1, the flagship team of over two dozen teams from Earth who explore the galaxy and defend Earth against alien threats such as the Goa'uld, Replicators and later the Ori. The composition of the SG-1 team is stable in the show's first five seasons but changes several times in the remaining seasons. The series expands upon many Ancient Earth mythologies such as Egyptian mythology, Norse mythology, and Arthurian legend. The 2008 direct-to-DVD films Stargate: The Ark of Truth and Stargate: Continuum continue the adventures of SG-1.
If you guys plan on watching this tv show (which I HIGHLY encourage you to do), I suggest that you watch the movie first. There are different actors for Daniel and Jack (the others aren't introduced yet), but it's still a really good movie, and you'd be missing background information without watching the movie. Well, I hope you all enjoyed this post! Bye~!

Contradiction
Hello all! I don't know who's reading this, I hope lots of people do, but I need to let you all know that i have no idea what to post! I know that I just shouldn't blurt that out like that, but that's just how I am. I'm now going to try and post a poem everyday, not long ones and not necessarily my best (I don't want people taking credit for my hard work), to fill in the gap until I come up with a theme for my blog. I hope you enjoy today's, it was a school project that I did a while back for ELA.
I am a contradiction
I am myself
I am not
I want to make a difference
I really don’t care
I am surrounded by many people
I don’t need to be
I am a luminous light
A shadow on this world
I put effort in my work
It later collects dust
I am making joyful memories
In the end they are discarded and unimportant
I am a scientist with a breakthrough discovery
I am an unkempt poet with a poem in mind
I am a composed Karate master
I am an insolent child
I am a free spirit
Encaged my mortality
Prey to despair
I know
I don’t
I love
I hate
I give
I take
I am
Human

Music~!
I have no idea what to say in this post, so i'll just post some songs that i love!
Brick ~ Ben Folds Five
I love this song because it's so full of emotion! It's so sad...
Cloudbusting ~ Kate Bush
I love Kate Bush's voice! You know how there's some music that you just like, but you can't explain why, this song is kind of like that. I love this song for it's feeling i guess.
Babooshka ~ Kate Bush
Another Kate Bush song that i love! Listen to her album "The Whole Story"!
Don't let it Bring you Down ~ Annie Lennox (originally by Neil Young)
Another song that i can't explain why i love it, i just do! My favorite part is the lyrics.
Time ~ Pink Floyd
What i like... the usage of instruments... the lyrics... the whole thing...
Nosferatu ~ Blue Oyster Cult
Interesting... very intriguing... i never knew it was about a vampire... A cool video as well...
I think that enough has been said... i'll try to find time to make better posts! :)

Well.. it's been a while...
I'm so sorry that i haven't posted in a while! Please give me some slack, i'm in grade 10 taking biology 20 and i also have a ruthless Social Studies teacher! We are WAY ahead of the English kids in our school, but he says that we're behind and that we need to pick up the pace! I'm dying as it is! Oh well... Speaking of school, we just finished reading To Kill A Mockingbird in English class. I strongly suggest that if you won't be reading it at your school (or you chose not to for some odd reason) that you read this novel. It's amazing!
"The unforgettable novel of a childhood in a sleepy Southern town and the crisis of conscience that rocked it, To Kill a Mockingbird became both an instant bestseller and a critical success when it was first published in 1960. It went on to win the Pultizer Prize in 1961 and was later made into an Academic Award-winning film, also a classic.
"Compassionate, dramatic, and deeply moving, To Kill a Mockingbird takes readers to the roots of human behavior - to innocence and experience, kindness and cruelty, love and hatred, humor and pathos. Now with over 15 million copies in print and translated into forty languages, this regional story by a young Alabama woman claims universal appeal. Harper Lee always considered her book a simple love story. Today it is regarded as a masterpiece of American literature."
To finish i'd like to post some of the songs that i'll be playing in the spring concert this year (remember, i play the bari sax part!). I hope you like them! ^_^ (i'll try posting more often! >.<)
